Deputy Minister of Defense Test Practica Combat Vehicles in Ukraine – Deputy Minister of Defense Sakti Wahyu Trenggono had the opportunity to try out a combat vehicle made by Practica during his visit to Ukraine in the context of Pindad’s cooperation with the country’s defense industry.
The marking of the cooperation was done by Pindad President Director Abraham Mose with Development Director Practica Dr. Yulia Vysotska was seen by Indonesian Deputy Minister of Defense Sakti Wahyu Trenggono in Kiev, Ukraine, Friday (02/07/2020) local time.
The Ministry of Defense press release received in Jakarta, Saturday (02/08/2020), the Deputy Minister hopes that the collaboration with Practica will be Pindad’s efforts to strengthen his ability to become a major player in the local and global defense industry.
I hope that Pindad is serious about carrying out its plans to be able to make combat vehicles (ranpur) with qualifications that are able to compete in the global market, he said.

He promised to oversee the implementation of the cooperation because it is part of the President’s mission so that the defense industry can produce the main weapons system (defense equipment) independently.
After signing the cooperation agreement, the Deputy Minister of Defense also had the opportunity to conduct a strength test using firearms on ranpur-making materials, in the form of steel plates and bulletproof glass.
After that, the trial ran the Mozak II ranpur on the highway to ensure speed and suspension.

Meanwhile, PT Pindad President Director Abraham Mose added that the scope of cooperation with Practica is the production and development of various types and modernization of combat vehicles.
There will be a formation of a correspondent team from both parties to study the capabilities and readiness of various projects that will be agreed based on the MoU. In addition, there will be an exchange of technical and business information related to the objectives of cooperation, he said.
Practika is a private barrier industry organization in the field of battle vehicles in Ukraine that was established in 1993, and is an establishing individual from the League of Defense Companies, an association that joins private guard industry fabricating in Ukraine.
